Unglaublich, diese Stimmähnlichkeit! Eben habe ich im Radio auf dem Nachhauseweg Of Montreal gehört, habe es nicht gekannt zuvor. Der Sound und seine Stimme ist echt Bowie mit einem Touch Freddy Mercury. Total fancy!!

Heute Abend war das Konzert von Lambchop in der roten Fabrik. War das Konzert-Highlight des Jahres, völlig unerwartet.

7 Leute auf der Bühne, also schon fast Bigband und doch so ruhiger Sound. Wenn mich jemand fragt, was für Musik die machen, so wirds echt schwierig, es zu beschreiben.
Es ist ein Cat Stevens-Verschnitt, nur das Cat Stevens in seine Zeit passte und Lambchop so gar nicht in unsere. Deshalb ist es ja so erfrischend!

Die Musik hat Zärtlichkeit, ist wie ein Sonnenaufgang. Sie ist das vertonte Schmusen. Und sie hat, ganz unabhängig vom Text, eine Message: "Alles ist in Ordnung." :)
